Senator Sharp offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 1, line 1, following "Act": Insert "relating to enforcement of federal laws relating to fish and game; and" Page 1, following line 3: Insert a new bill section to read: "* Section 1. AS 16.05 is amended by adding a new section to read: Sec. 16.05.145. Enforcement of federal laws relating to fish and game. The commissioner, an employee or agent of the Department of Fish and Game, or an employee or agent of another state department or agency may not assist in the enforcement of a federal statute or regulation relating to fish or game that is in conflict with a statute of this state relating to fish or game or with a regulation adopted by the Board of Fisheries or Board of Game." Page 1, line 4: Delete "Section 1." Insert "Sec. 2." Senator Sharp moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent that SENATE BILL NO. 19 am An Act relating to enforcement of federal laws relating to fish and game; and repealing the power and duty of the commissioner of fish and game to assist in the enforcement of federal laws relating to fish and game be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Without objection, it was so ordered. SENATE BILL NO. 19 am was read the third time. Senator Donley moved and asked unanimous consent that he be shown as a cosponsor on the bill.
